Clubhotel Riu Garopa in Sal, Cape Verde Islands
The Clubhotel Riu Garopa is situated on the island of Isla de Sal.
It is situated in the Cape Verde archipelago and is constructed directly on the sand beside a large beach. It is perfect for enjoying an independent holiday as a family or with friends, admiring the beautiful natural surroundings.
The hotel opens on to a colossal terrace dotted with palms, sun loungers and parasols. Nestled in the middle is the huge lagoon pool, crowned by a swim-up bar under a dramatic Sydney Opera House-esque roof. Peep in here and you'll see it doubles as the Mambana restaurant - you can try out exotic African curries here in the evening to the sound of the waves. Beyond all this, you've got the beach. A sweep of powdery sands, it features a beach bar and sun loungers.
You can walk along the sands to Santa Maria, which is just over a kilometre away and the hotel sits right next to its sister, the Riu Funana, where their grounds virtually merge into one. This means you can use many of the Funana's facilities.

General Information
The rooms are in warm earthy colours and have also a lot of wood. This hotel is the best on the island of Sal at the moment and the only 5 star to choose from. Alone or with your family this brand new five star hotel gives you everything what you might expect from a perfect holiday.
Our opinion: The Clubhotel Riu Garopa is a fantastic hotel which enjoys all year round sunshine.
