The Marine Club Hotel in Boa Vista is a quiet, attractive hotel set on a hillside overlooking the bay of Carlotta.
This hotel provides some very good facilities, with two pools, a massage suite, a daily activity programme, plus some evening entertainment where you’ll be able to hear the traditional soft melancholy of the Boa Vistan mornas.
The grounds are immaculately kept, with flowering bougainvillea lining narrow cobbled lanes. Marine Club benefits from good views of the beach at the front of the hotel, which can also be enjoyed from the restaurant and bar. The wooden pier that stretches out over the crystal clear water provides the perfect place to relax or for a romantic evening meal.
You are also only a 20-minute walk from the island’s capital of Sal Rei with its quiet squares, and ever-growing number of restaurants and bars, and if you’re feeling adventurous the hotel provides a shuttle bus service to a watersports centre just a few minutes away.

Our opinion: A delightful hotel with a good choice of facilities, already popular with Italian holidaymakers. With steps and inclines throughout the property, it may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.
