Odjo d' Agua in Sal, Cape Verde Islands
The Odjo d’Agua is a well-established hotel owned and managed by a Cape Verdean family.
On entering the property you are immediately aware of the hotels relaxed and friendly atmosphere as well as the family personal touches; the reception area is decorated with antiques and pictures reflecting the family's history.
The hotel benefits from fantastic views of the beach and sea, particularly from the ‘O Farolin’ restaurant which extends out over the water so you can enjoy listening to the sound of the waves. Fresh fish is naturally the chefs’ speciality but Creole, pasta and meat dishes are also available on the extensive menu.
There is also a very pleasant seating area overlooking the beach, the ideal location to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or relax during the day with a book. The hotel is built on a number of levels with the well-furnished guest rooms spread throughout the tropical gardens.

General Information
In the evening live music is provided most nights in the O Farolin restaurant and the Q Bar is a popular late night meeting point situated below the hotel. Although tucked away, the hotel still benefits from being close to the centre of Santa Maria with its choice of bars, restaurants and shops.
Our opinion: A delightful hotel particularly suited to couples looking for a beachfront property in a central location.
